Question by Des: How long should I train before I start P90X?
I'm currently 7 1/2 months pregnant...my due date is Sept 16th. I have been active before and throughout my pregnancy (some cardio and yoga). I have to wait 6 weeks after giving birth to start exercising...and I want to accomplish P90X! So my question is...after my 6 week period of recovery, how long should I train and work-out before I start P90X? Have you tried P90X? Were you fit before you started?
Thanks!
Best answer:
You can start p90x as soon as you are ready to start working out again. You may just have to take it easy when it comes to working out the abs. Anyway, I am an independent beachbody coach, so if you have any questions about working out or getting back into the swing of things, just e-mail me through my profile. You can also visit the websites listed in my profile for more information about how p90x works. So anyway, in my opinion, I personally would probably do about 2 weeks of getting back into a workout routine and then I would start p90x. Good luck with that. I love beachbody programs--right now I am working on Turbofire, and it is kicking my butt!!
