Yoga, tips and equipment?

Question by : Yoga, tips and equipment?
My friend and I are planning to take up yoga, and like other fitness related things, but mostly yoga. Today, in health class we were reading about yoga and after class we were like "lets take up yoga!" so we were wondering if you could tell us what we need and some tips! :o)

BTW- is there any type of video/dvd we cood buy cuz we r gunna b embarssed to go to classes so we were planning to have it at her or my house! :o)

I use the Wii Fit for my yoga. It works pretty well. It shows your balance and all that. It is also cheaper than classes. It is only about $ 100.00 with the yoga mat and game.
