Question by Nyaree: I'm an Exercise Freak! Am I taking my workouts too far? I feel great.?
I workout 7 days a week for about 3 hours a day. Here is my schedule;
Monday - Saturday Mornings
1 hour of running
1 hour of Ashtanga Yoga (this requires a lot of upper body strength) which shapes long and lean muscles.
1 hour of ab work (400-600 crunches and other ab work), mild weight lifting, and stretching.
Monday - Saturday Evenings
30-45 mintues of running
300 crunches and other ab work and stretching.
*I also do about 15 minutes in the Steam room to remove toxins in the skin.
On Sundays I try to do some sort of physical activity like hiking, dancing or Pilates. Sometimes I watch my Pilates video which is about an hour long. My workout philosophy is this, "There's no such thing as a day off"!
I also follow a strict Macrobiotic diet. It basically consists of 100% Whole Grains (i.e. 100% Whole Wheat Bread, Oatmeal every morning for breakfast, Bran, fruit, veggies, lean cuts of fish and some nuts). I feel great, but some say i am overdoing it. Am I?

no you seem fine. but are those ab exercises working like crunches do they actually help you? --are helping you?
