Beginning a fitness regime?
Question by Penguin♥: Beginning a fitness regime?
I'm not overweight, I'm just not particularly fit, which is why I'd like to start a fitness regime. I'm not looking for instant weight loss or anything, I just want to be healthier and more comfortable with myself. I'd specifically like to tone up my stomach, in the past year it's got a little chubby.
The thing is, I have no idea where to begin when creating my regime. I have limited time because of college commitments, and I don't have much money to spend on equipment or a gym membership so it would be better for me to do a little exercise often rather than lots in one go.
I would be really grateful if I could have some suggestions of a few things to do several times a week that would eventually make me fitter and perhaps more toned.
Would I need to do different types of workout each session, like some cardio, some weightlifting, etc? Would something like yoga give me what I'm looking for, and if so is there anywhere on the internet that can guide me or should I buy a DVD or something? As a beginner, how much should I be aiming to do each week?
Basically I'm a complete newbie, so any guidance you can give me would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!

You say..your in College..
Exercise makes ya' stupid..
I would suggest you use nutrition alone..
Become a Vegatarian..but use vitamin supplements..
Once per month make some boiled chicken..(learn to clean and brine chicken)..
Use pasta..brown rice..barley..eggs..
Get a Blood Pressure Monitor-with-Pulse Rate/
Use Whole Oats..boiled..plain..
