Question by IAH936: How much time do I have to wait till I do work-outs after drinking a glass or two of water?
when I intend to do some abs work-outs or some yoga I get thirsty that I drink a glass or two of water which makes me feel all jerky it's like jerking a bottle of water roughly. so does drinking water before work-outs harm me? when can I drink water before or after work-outs? should it be in small or large quantities? can I drink water with certain kinds of exercises like jogging or set-ups or yoga Weight lifting
Best answer:
There is nothing wrong with being properly hydrated. I drink litres of water when I'm training, as soon as your body becomes de-hydrated, it will have a majorly negative impact on your workout. Drink little sips, often, DO NOT drink an entire glass / bottle in the middle of training, you will feel ill. Drink maybe 500ml 20 minutes before exercise, and keep sipping during. Try drink another 500 ml afterwards also.
