Constipation help!?

Question by Frakin BSG Fan: Constipation help!?
I exercise 5 times a week. Usually 90 min of yoga 3-4 times a week, and jogging 3-5 miles about 3 times a week.

I drink at least 2 liters of liquid a day. I keep track by using a big 1 liter bottle. I got through it twice in a day with water, plus a couple glasses of juice on the side.

I also eat plenty of veggies and fruits. Always an apple a day plus any other fruits laying around. I always eat about 3 rice bowl sized bowls of veggies a day. I limit my carbs to 2 slices of bread or 1 bowl of rice a day. My meat is usually about 8 oz a day.

Why do i still feel stuck?!?! I haven't gone #2 in 4 days ...not even little nuggets!! I'm gonna pop in a Ex-Lax if still nothing happens by tomorrow!!! Usually if anything comes out, its just about 3 or 4 little balls and that's it! Its frustrating!! My stomach is always uncomfortable and i don't know what to do! Help!

Best answer:
Drink more water and stay away from the milk because it binds the bowels together.
Also take a fish supplement because it loosens so you can go to the bathroom easier.
Cut down on the vegetables because you may be eating too much.
Take in more fibre such as:
Soluble fibre - includes pectins, gums and mucilage, which are found mainly in plant cells. One of its major roles is to lower blood cholesterol levels. Good sources of soluble fibre include bananas, oranges, leafy green vegetables, oat bran, barley, seed husks, flaxseed, psyllium, dried beans, lentils, peas, soymilk and soy products. Soluble fibre can also help with constipation.
Maybe 15-25 miles running a week is too much! You can be dehydrated.
From all the exercise you do I'd drink a gallon and a half.
I'd go to the doctors.
I do not recommend taking Ex-Lax because if you have a lot in there removing it quickly with a laxative can cause a stomach ache and upset your body.
