I started doing yoga and now have pain on the top of my foot, what should I do?


Question by : I started doing yoga and now have pain on the top of my foot, what should I do?
I have pain in the ligament on the top of my foot. It hurts A LOT when I pick up my foot to walk, especially in the morning, then it still hurts throughout the day, just not as bad. The pain goes away when I point my foot, but increases when I bend it up towards my body. It is worse in my left foot, but is also present in my right foot. There may be a little swelling, but not really noticeable. What's wrong with it? Should I stop doing the yoga until it heals? Should I ice it? See a doctor?
