Tony Horton P90X Yoga X Update - Day 18
www.FatLossBlogger.com - Today was day 18 of P90X and I watched the Yoga X DVD today. As I've mentioned before, yoga is much more difficult than I thought it would be but I'm definitely starting to get the hang of it. I'm still running into some problems with some of the more difficult poses and positions, but things are coming along nicely. One thing that I'm having problems with is my hands slipping forward in the downward dog position. My hands start to get wet when I begin sweating and slip forward on the yoga mat. I've tried different yoga mats in an attempt to solve this, but no dice. If any of you have any suggestions, I'm all ears. The diet went well again today and I'm still on track... Stay tuned for tomorrow's update and stop by the blog at http

Question by FavreErvaf: P90x: Yoga X to repetitive and boring for me?
Can I substitute running like 3 miles on Yoga days and still have good results if I follow the calendar besides the Yoga? I got like 30 min in and it just bores to me death - too slow.
Best answer:
YogaX is important - it's also an acquired taste. Keep in mind that you're working on those week spots that the weight sessions don't really hit. Plus you get a really good stretch - everywhere.
If you're really not into YogaX - at least get through the movement phase (the first 45 minutes). And I would also suggest making sure you do X Stretch on Day 7.
3 miles you can substitute for KenpoX to get your cardio in.
