Question by Mike: What should a guy wear to a yoga class?
Never been in one before and I'm one of those jeans and t-shirt kind of guys, so I'm just curious what would be the proper attire to a yoga class?
Best answer:
Something loose and comfortable. A workout t-shirt and sweat or trakc pants should be fine.
St Patrick's Day - The Wearin O' The Green - Tee Shirts That Is!
Article by Bob Cairns
St Patrick's Day Tee Shirts are all the rage on that one great day when everybody is Irish regardless of their original heritage or country of origin. Just take a look around on March 17th if you don't believe me. Take a listen to all the fake Irish accents being thrown around. How many Leprechauns do you see on windows of shops and doors of houses? Even the Italian restaurant down the street is serving green beer and corned beef! But what about the rest of the year? I personally wear them all the time - especially my favorites - Guinness Stout Irish Tee Shirts and hats. I will agree there are some that may be offensive (like the Irish yoga shirt that I have seen around lately). I know many of these shirts depict huge consumption of beer and more but as we all know they are mostly unfounded. Hey - it is just a tee shirt!
Why not be a little bit Irish all year long - or at least part of the year? The Irish are generally a happy lot for the most part. So wearing the green can be fun. Nothing better than seeing a wee baby wearing a "kiss me I'm Irish" tee shirt! Put that tee shirt on a little baby with red hair and freckles and you have a picture!
Show off your favorite Irish football or rugby team with a great shirt - let the whole world know all year - not just Saint Paddy;s Day. Don't forget that sea of green that can be seen at the annual Saint Patrick's Day Parade in New York or elsewhere.
So put that green tee shirt on and get out there and show the green! Not only on March 17 but every day! If somebody asks you if you are Irish you can give them my favorite answer - "I am today!"
