Question by Paige S: Not sure if yoga would be safe after my shoulder problems?
This question could probably only be answered by a physical therapist or sports trainer but I figured I'd ask while it was on my mind. I recently finished physical therapy for my shoulder... long story short, i had to strengthen the rotator cuff muscles so they'd hold the shoulder joint in place. Do you think yoga would strengthen my shoulder or make it worse?
Best answer:
First, if you do take Yoga, tell the instructor about your shoulder so that any of the poses you should not do, she can advise you. I'm sure that Yoga could only make the shoulder stronger and more flexible.
