I absolutely adore my top half of my body, but dread the bottom half. It's like they belong to two diffrent people.
(all my weight goes to my butt and thyes)
I do not want to lose weight on my upper half because it is skinny enough. Apperently, working out the traditional way (like running) makes you lose weight evenly in the body, which I don't want. Would yoga by any chance allow me to only lose weight in my thyes if I do the right positions? Or would it affect my whole body as well?

Yoga does not help lose weight. You will be toning with yoga not losing weight.
