Question by : Is this a good diet....I want it to be like a lifestyle not just for a little while?
so can you let me know if this sounds like a good way of eating everyday? i mean the thought not the actual food lmao
Breakfast (9ish)
I had a bottle of water, maple sugar oatmeal (Quaker oats the packet) with a banana then half an hour later I had a cup of tea (the baffles one)
then my yoga exercise setion lol like half an hour I don't do cardio everyday maybe like twice a week I gotta step it up
around 1ish lunch: I had like 2 bottles of water and two popusas (however you spell it Haha) around 2 I had less than half of my friends tofu sandwhich all wheat bread mayo and lettuce plain haha
my snack was two handfuls of carrots with like 3 raw broccoli (I avoided ice-cream -___-) with like 2 bottles of water (don't use cups I'm on the go!
dinner (at 6ish): right now I'm having a bowl of salad lettuce of course with cucumber and some tofu chicken ! (I'm vegetarian lol) I may have some more salad hehe
if I get hungry later on I munch on more carrots or broccoli xo I don't eat after 8 and I drink usually about 3-4 more bottles of water
I feel like I left something out :0 doubt it...well suggestions? thank you to anyone who answered!!!
Best answer:
Hey your lifestyle sounds good. I would just try and get rid of some of the food in your diet.
For instance: Replace tea with herbal tea
The Oats, is pretty refined and processed. I suggest eating fruit for breakfast instead.
Try cut out the mayo (refined and fatty) and the wheat, you'll notice dramatic benefits.
Tofu is ok in moderation, definitely better than meat.
Check out nutridiary.com and make sure you're getting enough calories to give you fuel to exercise. Sounds like you're getting loads of water which is great as well!
I highly, highly recommend going vegan, I've been vegan for 6 years, raw vegan for 3. Check out the china study by T. Colin Campbell for scientific evidence to support veganism, Joel Fuhrams Eat for Life (includes great recipes), Dr Dean Ornish (check him on youtube), Dr. John MacDougall etc for more info. on health and nutrition.
