okay, i have cheer tryouts in the spring and i really want to be a flyer, so i need to lose weight. also, i have a figure skating competition in a month and i want to look good in my costume.
i have the "30 day shred" dvd, a 45 min. pilates dvd, and a 30 min. yoga dvd, i cant really go running outside cuz its cold. we have a mini gym in out basement with a few wegith lifting sets, hand weights, an eliptical, and exercise ball, and an exercise bike.
i would really like to lose 30-40 pounds.
i have tried many times but i have problems with staying on the diet and eating healthy, can you help, pleaseeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well im not going to be too judgemental as you have asked for advice and dont need a lecture. 30-40lbs is a lot of weight to lose in roughly four months, and wihtout knowing your current weight and height it would be difficult to determine whether this goal is feasable.
You seem to have the right idea in terms of exercise, so i would advise you to follow your dvds on a daily basis, cardio is a great fat burner.
Also you should combine this exercise with a healthly diet, low fat, low calorie or low carb. Nothing too extreme so you dont eat all the major food groups and nothing too strict which is impossible to stick too.
There are so many diets around, but personally for myself i do a low fat and lower carb diet (no white carbs, i replace them with wholemeal carbs instead such as pasta and rice).
When you lose weight, weight will come off all parts of the body including your fingers, but you cant target them specifically.
The 30 day shred video should help to target all those areas mentioned.

There are a lot of people who are overweight. This did not happen overnight so those who think this can disappear in a flash should think again.
There are many ways that a person can use to get rid of those excess pounds. Although science has developed diet pills and some have developed diet programs, the best way to lose weight is still through exercise.
Exercise is the best because it builds the person's endurance. As this develops, it also increases ones metabolism prompting one to burn more calories than before which results in weight loss.
Studies show that there are no known side effects when one decides to exercise. The worse that can happen to a person is straining a muscle for failing to stretch or by not giving the body enough time to recuperate before engaging in another session.
People don't have to spend much in order to lose weight. This is because there are some exercises that can be done at home. For instance, after stretching, the person can go for a walking or jogging session early in the morning thus burning a few calories. Afterwards, one can do some push ups and sit ups to work on the upper body and the abs.
The other way that will cost a little will be by enrolling in a gym. Here, a fitness trainer can help the individual lose weight by coming up with a program that involves cardio-vascular and aerobic activity.
