Question by P: I have just started Vinyasa Flow yoga, 3-4 two hour sessions a week. What differences will I notice?
I'm 20 and I've never done any yoga but wanted to for years. I've only been to two sessions and it's very dive-straight-in and hardcore. Not all slow and meditative but more sweat-pouring-off-my-chin and massive head rushes. With short breaks of slow and meditative. What kind of differences will I notice in myself if I continue attending these two hour sessions 3-4 times a week?
Best answer:
WOW .. 2 hour sessions? It amazing your can do 2 hour sessions. I only last about an hour.
Anyway .. what will happen is, Yoga stimulates good blood circulation, stamina is also built up. Sweating cleans up your pores so your body breaths .. in a manner of speaking. In the beginning you will feel sore, on your muscles and joints but that normal. After about 4 or 5 days, the pain is gone.
You may lose a few pounds, that's because yoga engages the whole body and you burn calories, even if you're just contortioning your body in one place but you become flexible and, of course, healthy in the process. But remember, exercise (no matter in what form) is just half the trick. The other half is you have to maintain a healthy diet plan .. not diet lessening your food intake diet but eating "healthy foods" kind of diet.
Lastly, you will feel good, light and energetic.
