Question by : How to get rid of super stubborn menstrual cramps?
THings that don't work for me: Hot compresses, hot baths, any type of pain reliever including, but not limited to: Midol, tylenol, aleve, pamprin, etc, working out, going on walks, doing yoga, eating types of foods (anything I've found on here from bananas to small amounts of chocolate) and taking a nap. Nothing here has worked, and these cramps are really really painful
Nothing will work, and there is no way in hell my dad'll let me get birth control even if it is only for this!!

Best answer:
Stay away from the cold, that'll worsen the cramps. I agree with the other two, you need something warm like a hot water bottle or a hot bath.

Slowly roll the hot water bottle on top of your tummy or lower abdomen or whever it hurts.. that'll ease the pain a little.

And, I know this might sound crazy, but doing a bit of excercise will help the muscle contraction in the uterus, thus, easing pain. When I started doing some simple excercise like walking to school or something, my cramps are becoming less painful.

Hope I helped. :)
