Question by LisaOfLily: Beginning Yoga?
My sister and I want to start yoga but don`t know where to start. I went to our local book shop and there are hundreds of yoga dvds. some that caught my eye were:
- Ana Brett/Ravi Singh (but the yoga they teach is something called Koundilini (sp) and how is that different from regular yoga?)
- Rodney Yee (they were playing his video on the tv but it seemed that he went thru the poses rather fast...)
What dvds and other advice would you reccommend for beginning yoga?

I would go to a yoga studio first and ask to watch a class....there are different variations of yoga (i.e. Bikram) etc...and ask questions and pick up some brochures...then when you decide which type of yoga you prefer, go buy your dvd. Otherwise you may not like your first experience if you end up with the wrong type of yoga for you.
