Question by krishna B: Hi, I want to lose my post pregnancy weight. I have been fast walking and doing yoga . I have , I could say?
fat or thick arms, ie even when i was thin my hands looked huge, a family hereditary. I wish to reduce the fat on my arms, is there a way I could make my arms slender. I have been exercising on the dial machine , pulling the weight of only one lat. somebody told me i would develop muscles by doing that and my arms will look the same. I do not wish to develop muscles, just slender arms. Please advise. Thanks
Best answer:
Are you breast feeding? If so make sure that you're taking in enough extra calories for the baby, but not overdoing it (many women take in more than the baby needs).
When you're walking try using 2-5lb dumbells. That will help tone them up. If you feel that after awhile they're starting to look too big then cut down the amount of weight you're using.
Also, if you enjoy yoga consider doing pilates. Many of the exercises are similar and it is great at toning the body.
