I have heard many quotes, but it is obviously circumstantial. I have heard of people going forty eight days without food, twelve without water, eighteen without sleep, fourteen without deification and ten without urination. However, these are all if the body is already strong. As from me, I kneed to know if I can spend nine days in the louts position, unmoving, in sixty eight degree temperature, with no exposure to the elements, in light, long-sleeved clothing. There are historical examples of people surviving longer than nine days, but I would be participating in all these forms of deprivations simultaneously, hence weakening me. Given the scenario, how long would I have before I sustain permeant bodily damage, and how long would I have before I die.

Other important information: I am a sixteen year old male, vegan, fifteen precent body fat, one hundred forty pounds, have a meletonin deficiency that allows me to go up to three days without sleep with no noticeable side effects. I am very active.

Lastly, as much as theory is appreciated, I would like well documented historical fact. I have found historical instances of being deprived of each of these things separately, but never at once, and I believe the number of factors concerning your deprivation will severely effect the time before you die. I know of a yogi (Prahlad Jani) who has survived seventy years without food, but I have yet to learn this kind of yoga, and probably will not be presented to do so in the near future.

Bad news is you will never know your limits until you reach them. All such historical information is based upon that individual reaching such limits. And then the documentation of such is always suspect. As for the yogi who went 70 years without food? Now that is just ludicrous. At 16 your body is still growing and needs to consume a huge amount of nutrition to do so. If you stress it without needed nutrition and fluid intake you risk damaging systems which may be difficult for your body to repair.
