I've been diagnosed with an S shape cervical bones (whiplash/military neck) , Cervical degeneration and C4-C7 hyperplasia . I have tinnitus, migraine, TMJ, dizziness, neck shoulder and back pain as symptoms and sometimes unclear visions . I am only 25 and fit.
They gave me a collar to wear for a month and medicines .
The pain is worse in the car and when i set for a while.
I bought a special pillow ,stopped doing exercises like boxing and weight lifting and planning to do yoga and pilates .
1. Is there anything else I could do to restore the normal C shape of my cervical spine?
2. Is this cervical degeneration what we usually call neck disk ?
I would be thankful 4 ur answers =) ..

DDD or degenerative disc disease is part of the normal aging process. It starts between 25-30 and finishes at 60-65. The discs between the vertebra start to shrink, dehydrate. As long as the disc's remain whole, there is no real problem. However if you damage the disc, slipped disc, prolapse, tear, then the material inside the disc can leak out and interfere with the 'nerve roots'.
What keeps our spine in the correct position are the muscles, so you need to attend Pilate's, stop doing the boxing weight lifting as they will strain the neck muscles which are already weak.
Once you have the muscles back to full function, support the spine, all will be fixed.
