Question by Mythical Creature: Can I adjust my back through exercise and avoid the chiropractor?
I have too much stuff to do today--pick some produce up, return some DVDs before 30 days after purchase is up and get my daughter from daycare; get some treadmill time in, make dinner, etc... I don't have time to drive across town to see him today and don't really want to pay the $ 35.

I threw one of my discs out slightly while picking up my 2-year-old. Is there something I can do? Roll on my back like an egg? Some kind of yoga? It hurts---but not enough to warrant a visit just yet. I know I'm setting myself up for more pain tomorrow by not going --but damn! Life just has me too busy today--LOL!

Yes! Try easy yoga and stretches--I'd try and stay away from the chiropractor. Maybe take a yoga class so you can tell the instructor about your problem. He/she may be able to help. Also, try alternating heat and cold packs on your back, or a massage.
