Question by maggie: what type of workouts should i include during a week?
I would like to start a routine of video workouts. I have the Jillian Michaels Yoga Meltdown, so i plan to do that twice a week. but what else can i include in the week? (cardio, taebo, etc.)
If you have your own personal routine and don't mind sharing it, what is it?
Best answer:
Include Shaun T's Insanity work out!
It is the best!
Living Simply - 5 Steps to Creating More Space in Your Life
Article by Anette Hollaender
Tough Times
We're all struggling in these tough financial times. You don't have to look far to see the signs of our current global economic meltdown. Stores boarded up, houses marked for short sales, and ever-growing unemployment lines get worse every day. However, as entrepreneurs we are blessed with the ability to make, and protect, our own money. Keep reading to learn how five steps to living simply can boost your health, wealth and happiness.
The Concept of "Less"
For too long we have been participating in the age of more. But now is the time of less. Downsizing your life, including possessions, budgets, spending and consuming can not only save you money but can really create the space for some unexpected and amazing changes in your life.
5 Simple Steps
1. De-clutter your home and work spaces. Go through your drawers, closets and anywhere junk tends to accumulate in your spaces. Try holding a yard sale or give unwanted items away to charity (which will also be a tax deduction).
2. Go about the process of de-cluttering your space should be enjoyable. If we make this a pleasant experience for ourselves, we're more likely to repeat the behavior. One friend of mine was de-cluttering her bathroom and found she had hoards of forgotten bath, beauty and spa products. She pampered herself into more closet space by taking a week to give herself the "spa treatment." Find some way to reward yourself for your efforts...that doesn't involve shopping.
3. Take an honest look at what you are consuming and find some areas where things can be cut back. For example, do you eat a pint of ice cream every other day? Drink a six-pack of beer four times a week? In cutting back on these overly-indulgent behaviors you'll not only save money, you'll feel so much better physically but without having to "diet."
4. One of the hardest things for many people to even consider is downsizing their car(s) or getting rid of them altogether. However, more and more people are choosing to go green and are getting around just fine on two wheels. How much money could you save if you traded your car in for a more efficient model? How much if you started biking?
5. Cut back on trips to the mall or mega mart. Many times we go out and spend money simply because we are bored, or maybe there is something else lacking. Replace the habit with a walk in the woods, yoga or meditation class.
Be Patient
Just as I tell people who are just starting a new business, when learning how to go about living simply you must be patient with yourself and with the process. Don't try to take on too much at one time. Little steps will start bringing real improvements into your life, your budget and your business.
