Can too much yoga be bad for your muscles?


Question by quinn: Can too much yoga be bad for your muscles?
I was told recently that too much yoga over stretches your muscles. It apparently stretches them to a point at which you can not rebuild the muscle fibers by lifting weights, in other words you can not increase muscle size. This seems incorrect to me for various reasons, however I couldn't find any articles online that confirmed my question one way or the other. Could someone point me in the right direction please?

it does make you smaller, but way more powerful. size does not matter at all.
a good balance between the two would be good don't you think?
